Lenght : 130cm for males to 170cm for females. Exceptionally 200cm.

Biotope : dry forests and semi-arid zones.

Distribution : endemic species of Argentina.

Remarks: this arboreal species eat rodents, birds, lizards and other snakes. Seem to be diurnal, except in the hot season, where it prefers the softness of the night.
It's an aggressive species and don't hesitate to bite.
Females laid in october to november. 10 to 18 eggs.
